Jigglebee started with a simple idea; activity metrics measure mouse movements, not actual work. We built a tool for people who feel the same.
The problem we noticed
Here's the thing: remote work gave people flexibility, but it also brought a new kind of anxiety. Status indicators, Activity trackers, and the constant need to prove you are "present" even when your work is done. We've all been there. You finished your deliverables for the day by 3 pm. Now you're moving your mouse in circles until 5 pm because a green dot matters more than your output. That felt backward to us.
Why we built Jigglebee
Jigglebee exists because we believe your contributions matters more than your cursor's contribution. If you have done your work, you should not have to perform busyness. Take a break, walk your dog or pick up your kids. Your green dot should be handled if that matters to the management.
We are not anti-work. We are pro-autonomy. There is a difference.
What we ended up building
We did not want another mouse jiggler; Those exist. They are predictable, robotic, and let us be honest; they look like what they are. We built something much better; realistic simulation of actual computer use. Curved mouse movement with corrections and overshoots, typing with natural variation, scrolling, clicking, tab switching, etc. The kind of imperfect, human-like activity that does not raise eyebrows.
It runs locally, and only sends to our servers these 2 things

We are not a faceless corporation
Jigglebee is built by a small team of people who work remotely, dealt with presence tracking, time tracking, and micro-management. We experienced the anxiety the anxiety that comes with it in a remote setting. We are not building this from a boardroom. We built it because we wanted to use it ourselves.
We take the technical stuff seriously
We could have shipped a basic mouse mover and called it a day. Instead, we dug into research on human-computer interaction, implemented Bézier curve based algorithms to handle natural movement and overshoots for cursor movements, built Markov chain based models for action sequencing, and analyzed actual typing patterns to make keystrokes look natural.
Is it an overkill? Maybe. But good enough was not good enough for us.
We are not here to change the world
We are not here to overthrow corporate surveillance or lead a revolution against monitoring software. We just think that if you are a professional who delivers results, you should not need to perform activity for a time tracker. Jigglebee gives you back a bit of control over your day. That's it.
